A recently renovated, fully furnished 1920 bungalow home for out of town guests visiting the area. Features three very comfortable queen beds (two bedrooms and one loft), one pull out couch bed, two full baths with walk-in showers, Turkish towels, fully equipped kitchen, HD TV in four rooms, free Wifi, free Dish Network, breakfast nook, dining table that extends for more seating, desk for your laptop, laundry on the first floor, iron and ironing board. Linens, dish soap, bar soap, and laundry detergent provided.

1,500 sq. ft. two-story newly remodeled home in May of 2016 can accommodate 2 to 8 people in beds, and with a baby in the crib, 9 total. We have your comfort in mind with three pillow top queen size beds and one double bed size pull out couch with an extra mattress we put on for comfort.
Suitable for vacation or business travelers. Fully stocked kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, glasses, and utensils you need, plus all new appliances. Kitchen-aid mixer, blender, coffee maker, microwave, cutlery set, toaster, gas range and oven, refrigerator. Complimentary water and condiments will be in the refrigerator. Coffee, tea, sugar, honey, and spices are provided.
Two bedrooms downstairs with very comfortable pillow top queen beds and 32" HD TVs. Full shared bathroom downstairs and full bathroom upstairs, both with walk-in showers (no tubs). The loft upstairs has one queen-sized bed and one full-size pull out couch. We provide high count soft bed linens, soft hotel-style Turkish towels, laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and bath soap. Closets with hangers, blow dryers, iron and ironing board, washer/dryer combo on the first floor. Secretary desk for laptop or writing. Games and books for rainy days.
Private patio area in back to enjoy in nice weather with chairs, table, an outdoor fire-pit, a large wood-fired brick oven for gourmet chefs, and a Weber grill. Grill utensils are in the kitchen. Bring your own charcoal. Crib, stair safety gate, and high chair available upon request. Parking for up to three vehicles available - one in the back lot and two on the street. If you have friends or family over for a get-together, have them park in the back of 1136 S Pearl street on the grass or in the church lot across the street (except during church hours).
Corner dinette in the kitchen, dining table has a built-in leaf that pulls out to seat up to 7 adults. Antique dressers, tables, and decor throughout. Living room with 48" HD TV, cable, and blue-ray player. FREE WI-FI. HD TVs in each bedroom.
Note: We have a few chickens in the back and sometimes they wander around the driveway or yard but they won't bother you. We don't have a rooster.
Parking for two cars- one in front on the street and one in back next to the house. The driveway is shared with our office and we use the garage in back and need to have access to it throughout the day.
The house is located three doors down from 23rd Street which is a main thoroughfare through the city. QuickTrip is one block away. There is a church across the street. This is an older neighborhood with an eclectic mix of houses. Some neighbors don't keep their yards up very well, but ours are nice. We own the three houses from the corner in and keep the properties well maintained.

This location is 20 minutes from just about everything in the area: Downtown KC, the Sprint Center, Starlight Theater, Bartle Hall, The KC Zoo, World's of Fun and Ocean's of Fun, The Power and Light District, Royals and Chiefs Stadiums, and just 2 miles from the Historic Independence Square, the RLDS Temple, Children's Peace Pavilion, the RLDS Auditorium, 3 miles from the vale Mansion, Truman home, Truman Library, The Ginger Rogers Museum, and local historic tours. 28 miles or 40 minutes from the Kansas Speedway and Renaissance Faire in Bonner Springs, Kansas depending on traffic. 12 minutes from the Silverstein Eye Center Events Center (Independence) Arena.
